Naomi Ruth Phillips

Ruthie Phillips (Clark) was born to Charles and Mary Clark on December 2, 1938 and went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2024. Ruthie graduated from Akron North High School and went on to work at McDonald's for over 25 years.

Ruthie is preceded in death by her son, Scott Phillips; parents, Charles and Mary Clark; sister, Marlene Douthit; brothers, John Clark, Charles (Juniboy) Clark, and Richard Clark. She is survived by her sister-in-law, friend, and caretaker, Deanna Clark; several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Phil Anderson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Church of Tallmadge, 231 South Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278 in Ruthies's name.
