Nathan Lee Strickland, 48, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2023. Born on December 12, 1974, in Akron, OH to Philip Strickland and Debra {Lamp} Miller, he was a lifelong resident of NE Ohio area. Nathan worked hard as a roofer. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, bowling with his father on Sundays, monster truck and motorcycle racing as well as spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Austin Tilton, Alivia Conner, Allyson Strickland, grandchildren, Cylus Tilton, Sophia Tilton, Wyatt Tilton; parents, Philip Strickland, Debra Miller; half-brother, Justin Miller, stepfather, Larry Miller; stepbrother, Jason Miller and stepsister, Yvonne Olenzak. Nathan is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
His kindness, beautiful smile and sense of humor will be missed by family and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. For those who wish to make "in memory of" donations, the family has requested Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308.
