Nathaniel D. Crusan, Sr., 62, passed away on August 23, 2011. Nathaniel served with the US Marines for 2 years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Nathaniel worked at Bethlehem Steel in Pennsylvania. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Martha; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers. Survivors include his wife, Valree, of 43 years; son, Nathan (Beth); daughters, Jill (Stan) and Renea (Daniel); grandson, Brandon; sisters, Virginia, Margaret, and Henrietta; many nieces and nephews; and his best cat Earl. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service.
