Neal Abbey

Neal "Boo" Abbey, 55, of Cuyahoga Falls, walked into the next life on March 3, 2016. He was born on December 31, 1960, the son of Gail (Ehrnsberger) Abbey of Tallmadge, OH and the late David Allen Abbey. Neal grew up in Elyria, OH, was an avid reader, a baseball fan, a military history enthusiast, especially Civil War, and a railroad buff and collector. He proudly served his country as an honorably discharged U.S. Army Ranger.
Other than his father, Neal was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Allen Abbey, and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother and his sister, Gerri Lynn (David Drylie) Abbey of Sun City Center, FL; surviving also is a niece, Stephanie, and his great-niece Elayna; and his companion, Julie Ann Bingham.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Metro Parks Foundation, 975 Treaty Line Rd., Akron, OH 44313.
