Neill W. Klinginsmith, III, "Dinger", age 68 of New Franklin, Ohio, died on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Barberton Hospital.
He was born on September 15, 1948 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Neill W. and Dorothy Klinginsmith, Jr.
Dinger was a retired electrical engineer for Rogers Industrial, Parker Hannifin, McNeil, and Firestone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, gambling, and the Hard Rock Casino.
Neill is survived by his loving wife, the former Patricia A. Davis, whom he married on September 27, 1975; his three children, Beth (Christopher) Beckel, Laura Giaimo, and Lesli (Stephan) Ryder; his grandchildren, James, David, Anthony, Andrea, Emma, and Ava.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 7:00 PM, where family and friends may visit beginning at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defer funeral costs.
