Nerieda L. Bland

Nerieda Lynn Bland "Missy" aka "Booger Head", 30, of Akron, passed away on November 6, 2020. She was born in Akron on May 24, 1990 and attended East High School. Missy attended Greater Evangelist Temple First Born Church of the Living God Inc. Missy always had a smile on her face and in her heart. She took pride in her home and loved to keep everything neat and clean. She also loved all types of music. She was outspoken and the life of the party. Above all, her greatest joy was being a mother to her precious children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nerieda Riley; grandparents, Rosa Lee Mills-Rentas and Jose (LaVodia) Rentas Sr., Ronald (Imma) Bland Sr.; uncle, Stephen J. Crews; aunts, Gloria Rentas and Ramona Rentas; cousins, Bernard Mills, Michael Kirksey, Na'Kya and Na'Kia Crawford, and Pastor Connie Riley.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Missy's funeral service will be private and limited to immediate family members.
