Nettie Jewel Henderson

Nettie Jewel Henderson, 95 of Akron passed away peacefully at Ohio Living Rockynol on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born in Clayton, AL on April 10, 1927 to the late Wilford and Nellie {Lampley} Clark.

In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her brothers George Clark, David Clark, Albert Clark, Theotis Clark and Wilford Clark II.

Nettie will always be loved by her sister Mary Ricks; special cousin Lois Webb, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nettie loved children, so much so that she began a career as a Grandmother at Akron Children's Hospital.

Nettie's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Ohio Living Rockynol, for their compassionate care of Nettie.

Akron, OH 44305 on Tuesday, September 6 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m. Following services, a graveside committal will be held at Mount Peace Cemetery, Akron, where Nettie will be laid to rest near her family.
