Neval T. Chaney, Jr.

Neval T. Chaney, Jr., 79, went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 16, 2014. He was born on July 9, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to the late Neval T., Sr. and Laura Chaney. Neval was a great grandfather and loved his family. He was a member of Tallmadge Alliance Church and later attended Falls Creek Community Church. He enjoyed gospel music, watching the Cleveland teams and worked very hard to support his family.
Neval was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and son Michael D. Chaney. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Ruby Chaney, children; Steven (Ythamar) Chaney, Laura (John) Holbert, Bonnie (Charles) McClung, Peggy (Jerry) Nichols, Tom Chaney, III and Joshua David (Julie) Chaney, 16 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held 6-9 pm on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the home of Steven (Ythamar) Chaney's home in Tallmadge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any hospice of donor's choice.
