Nicholas Dudik
Nicholas Dudik was born on a winter day December 14, 1919 in Hinckley, Ohio and passed away on a summer morning July 7, 2009 in Akron, Ohio. For 89 1/2 years, Nick Dudik always lived a full and eventful life. He enjoyed nature, science, history, and always a great meal. He was a devoted husband to Olga. They had been married for over 50 years before she passed away on February 15, 2001. They had five children: Nicholas Jr., Michael, Lauren-Elaine, Daniel, and Anita. Nine grandchildren enriched his life: Steven, Christopher, Nikola, Jessica, Yuri, Matthew, Mark, Asia, and Annika. Nick served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force. He retired from Sperry Univac as a field technician after more than 30 years of service. After retirement, Nick and Olga enjoyed bowling, their trips to Las Vegas, and their favorite pasttime, Bingo. After Olga passed, Nick continued with Bingo, and truly enjoyed time with his grandchildren. Nick was especially dedicated to his dogs, Fannie and Enie; and they were especially dedicated to him. We will miss you Daddy and Grandpa. We Love You!!
