Nick Romano

Nick J. Romano, 90, passed away on June 26, 2005. Nick was a WWII veteran serving with the US Army. He was currently employed at Van Devere Oldsmobile. Preceded in death by his wife Bessie. Survivors include daughters Bonnie Bissett and Vicki (Don) Stump; granddaughters Laurie (Bill) McManigal and Katherine Stump; great-granddaughter Kari McManigal; and many special friends, family members, and co-workers. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Akron General Medical Center for their care and support. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Thursday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
