Nina Marie Williams
Nina Marie Williams born March 2, 1924, went home to be in the loving arms of Jesus on April 14, 2009 at the age of 85. There to meet her at the gates of Heaven is her husband of 61 years, Earl Williams (03-05-03); parents, John Dodd and Stella Kaiser; son, Steven (06-27-08); brothers, Henry and Shirley; and sister, Hazel. Celebrating her life and keeping her memory alive is her son, Gary; daughter, Janet Hoover; sister, Juanita Geer; grandchildren, Tamie Smith (Ray), Paul Hoover (Holly), and Steven (Kim); nieces, nephews, and many great-grandchildren that she loved so very much. Nina was a wonderful mother, loving and devoted wife, teacher of faith and love, and the foundation of our family. Calling hours will be Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Pastors Brock Miller and Ray Collins officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
