Norbert V. Miller, 77, of Akron, passed away January 2, 2011. Norb was born in Akron on February 24, 1933. He retired from the city of Akron Parks Dept after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benton and Angeline Miller and sister, Mildred Smart. He was a loving father to his daughters, Adriona and Alissa Miller. He will also be missed by their mother, Paula Pascucci; other relatives and friends; and special neighbor, Janelle Johnson. A graveside service in celebration of Norb's life will be held Friday, January 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. If desired, memorials may be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org.
