Norma J. Hoch, 85, passed away May 6, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Parkersburg, WV to William and Ellen (McAtee) Boylen, she resided in the Akron area most of her life. Norma enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel, baking chocolate chip cookies, shopping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert; brother, William Boylen, Jr. She will be sadly missed by her children, Robert, Jr (Terri), Gary (Nancy), Vicki (Dave), Sue (Bill), Mike (Kimmie); 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dottie Boylen; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank neighbors Tom and Kelly Martinelli and other neighbors and friends for always being there for the entire Hoch family, also Crossroads Hospice for their loving care of Norma.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd, The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Norma's name to Crossroads Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
