Born on January 24, 1942 in Belington, WV and passed away on December 14, 2023.
Norma is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Kirkland; three sons, Kenneth, Keith (Sara) and Kevin (Pam); siblings, Faye Laney and Ed Johnson; uncle Ernie Gillis; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Mike (Amy) Kirkland; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, French and Ethel (nee Gillis) Johnson; mother and father-in-law, Kenneth and Rena Kirkland; sister, Dorothy (Bernie) Dalton; brother, Robert (Marie) Johnson; and brother-in-law, Ralph Laney.
Norma enjoyed working at Piccione's Jewelers for 28 years with her best friends, Marilyn Augustus and Linda Finch. They enjoyed many outings together. She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially the grandchildren, reading and let's not forget her love of the Hallmark Channel.
The family would like to thank Absolute Hospice as well as Altercare Post Acute for their wonderful care they provided.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
