Norma Lee Smith, 85, of Akron went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2018.
She was preceded in death by the father of her three sons, her late husband James Dwight Murphy Sr.; brothers, Lindsay, Jesse and Robert Slayers; and sisters, Joyce and Sue.
Norma is survived by her husband, Paul Kenneth Smith; brothers, Russell, Mike, John and Lewis Salyers; sister, Janet; sons, James (Kelly) Murphy, Greg (Kim) Murphy, Bill (Donna) Murphy; step-daughter, Peggy (Mike) McGill; grandchildren, Stacey Smith, Jim Murphy, Dennis Murphy, Jason Murphy, Michael (Ciera) Murphy, Kristina Murphy, Jeffrey (Ashley) Murphy; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Per request of Norma, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services.
