Oda Virginia Perkins, 85, of Akron, passed away July 24, 2008. Oda was born May 18, 1923 in Glenville, West Virginia. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. Oda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nancy Moore; brother, Bud; and sisters, Mary and Jean. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William; daughter, Nancy Williams; grandchildren, Tammy Powell and B.G. (Star) Williams III; and great-grandchildren, Jason, Joseph, and Jessica. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
