Olen E. Osborne
Olen E. Osborne, 79, went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2010. He was born in Ansted, WV to Otis and Bessie Osborne. Olen was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He retired from Conrail Railroad after 39 years of service. Preceded in death by his brothers, Junior and Ray; sisters, Macel and Patty; and his beloved son, Michael. Olen is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jean; daughter, Jill (Rick) Nuccitelli; and sister, Freda Bullough. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, from 10 am to 12 noon, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow immediately at noon with Pastor Bob Stephens officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, Ohio, 44306.
