Ollie D. (West) Gibson
Ollie D. (West) Gibson, 86, passed away on June 15, 2009 after a long illness. She was born July 14, 1922 in Clay County, West Virginia. She was a resident of the Akron area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade; grandson, Kenny Cumberlidge; two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Nora Cumberlidge of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, James (Linda) of Mogadore and Ronald (Barb) of Akron; brothers, Ed (Gladys) West and Homer West; sisters, Ota (Lyle) Cordi and Bertha Howard of Tennessee; grandchildren, Jeff (Cara) Cumberlidge, Marsha (Dana) Martin, Jimmy (Tammy) Gibson, Debbie (Wayne) Harris, and Ronnie (Barb) Gibson, Jr.; and several great-grandchildren. Ollie's family would like to thank the Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls staff for all the care given to her. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
