Opal Roser

Opal Roser, 92, of Akron, passed away on March 22, 2017. She was born on February 14, 1925 in Canton, NC to the late Newton and Berta Drake.
She retired from Nickles Bakery. Opal loved gardening, crafts, and scenic rides in the country.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph; and siblings, Marvin (Betty) Drake, Clinton (Clyde) Drake, Kathryn (Bunk) Clark, Elsie (Red) Trantham, Ruby (Cecil) Presley, and Pauline (Jack) Holcomb. She will be deeply missed by her children, Debbie Baker, Tim Roser, and Garry Roser; brother, Jim (Marlene) Drake; granddaughter, Kim Roser; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 27, 2017 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
