Otie I. Miracle
Otie I. Miracle, 93, went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2008 to join her beloved Glenn who went on ahead less than a week before. Otie was a very special woman who loved her Lord, children, gardening, and her family. She left behind many people who dearly loved her: her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Tom Oden; grandsons, Michael (Lisa) Oden and Scott (Jaime) Oden; great-grandchildren, Kathie, Austin, and Hunter Oden; stepdaughter, Priscilla (Gary) Davidson and her family; stepsons, Roger and Darrell Miracle and their families; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Otie was a long time member of the Akron Baptist Temple and a past member of Goodyear Wingfoot Girls. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Altercare of Hartville and Maison Aine for the wonderful care Otie received at the end of her life. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Dr. John Thielenhaus officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
