Otmer "Ott" Williams
Otmer "Ott" Williams, 79, of Akron, Ohio, passed away July 28, 2007 at Summa Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a long illness. Ott moved to Orlando, Florida in 1972 after the Taystee Bakery closed and returned last October to be close to his family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wilma; his two sons and their wives, Michael and Sandy of Ellet and Terry and Jerry of Ocoee, Florida; granddaughter, Faithe Beach of Akron; grandson, Noah Williams of Apoka, Florida; great-grandsons, Jared and Joshua Beach of Akron; brother, Arnold Williams of Kenna, WV; sister, Mildred Scott of Millwood, WV. Ott attended the First Methodist Church in Florida. He was a World War II Army veteran, a life member of the VFW, and a member of the American Legion. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:30-1:00 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
