Otto G. Blake

Otto G. Blake, 64, of Akron, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2020. He was born in Norton, Ohio on September 23, 1955 to the late Otho and Wanda Blake. Otto lived in Florida for several years, where he worked as an assistant football coach. Upon returning to Ohio, he worked at Acme and retired ten years ago as a crew leader. Otto was a very hard worker. In his free time, he enjoyed playing computer games and watching sports. In addition to his parents, Otto was preceded in death by his best friend, Larry Stimson. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sue Blake; nephew, Todd Stevenson; daughters, Carrie and Carmen; brother, Ray (Jean) Blake; three granddaughters; and other relatives and friends. Per Otto's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
