Ovalene (Maynord) Sullivan
Ovalene (Maynord) Sullivan, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, went home to be with her Savior on October 3, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband, Linzy and two children, Harold Sullivan and Linda Harrison. Ovalene is survived by her children, Nell (Millard) Downey, Earl (Vera) Sullivan, Bobbie (Carvel) Johnson, Richard (Marie) Sullivan, Larry (Jean) Sullivan and Kathy (Mike) Stohovitch; as well as 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Monday, October 6 from 4 - 6 p.m. A service will follow at 6:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Her body will be laid to rest in Livingston, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Northeast Region, 525 North Broad St., Canfield OH 44406 or American Diabetes Association, Akron Office, 1815 W. Market St., Ste. 108, Akron OH 44313.
