Overt "Vane" Cole Jr., 58, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Vane was born on January 16,1958 to Overt and Dorothy Cole. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Vane was a gentle giant with a big heart and was loved by all who knew him. Vane retired from Jo-Ann Fabrics Warehouse after 15 years of employment.
He is preceded in death his parents, Overt and Dorothy Cole and nephew, JJ.
Vane is survived by his siblings, Vickie (Ernie) Evans, Kathy Bledsoe, Pam Cole ( Bob Riley), Vanessa Cole , Marie (Jeff) Manning; many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss Vane dearly.
Family will receive friends on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m with a Memorial service at 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vane's family.
