Owen Resh

Owen D. Resh, 74, passed away on August 11, 2005. Owen retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He was a charter member of the Sanctuary of Praise and volunteered for 15 years at the Haven of Rest. Preceded in death by his parents Howard and Zula Resh. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Jean; sons Tom of Phoenix, AZ and Jim (Lisa) of Gilbert, AZ; sister Dorothy Rutter; grandchildren Joanna, Jonathan, Jeremy, and Joshua; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2005, 11 a.m. at the Santuary of Praise, 2425 Massillon Rd. Akron, Pastor David Fisher officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sanctuary of Praise Building fund or to Haven of Rest Ministries.
