Pamela D. Gindlesberger, age 68 of Dublin, Ohio, previously Canal Fulton, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born in Akron on July 23, 1952, the daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl "Becky" {Norris} Kent.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her beloved aunt, Barb Kent.
Pam was the light of her family's life, which included her love of 50 years, Larry; daughter Dawn (Tracy) Gindlesberger Shrimplin of Columbus; son Steven Gindlesberger of Orlando; grandbabies Mia, Payton, Dylan and Jordan, Madison and Ethan; brothers Greg (Alice) Kent, Thomas (Betty Faye) Kent and John (Phyllis) Kent; sister Susanna Michele Kent.
Pam had an infectious smile, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She retired as a manager from FedEx, and owned her own laser engraving business, GSWood, where she and Larry crafted some incredible works of art. Pam volunteered as an income tax preparer through AARP, as well as building houses with Habitat for Humanity. She played fast pitch softball until the age of 60. Pam was a loving person, who never met a stranger, always taking the time to invest in each person.
Friends and family are welcome to visit on Saturday, May 29, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the 11:00 a.m. service, with Pastor Jim Gindlesberger officiating. Memorial donations in Pam's name may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O.
