Pamela J. Piland

Pamela J. (nee Ulrich) Piland, 76, of Atwater, went to be with her Lord on February 6, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 25, 1947 to the late Elmer and Evelyn Mae Ulrich.
Pam was raised in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Garfield High School. After graduation, she spent 25 years as a credit analyst at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, and retired from Matco Tools Inc.
In her free time, she was an avid bowler and participated in numerous leagues. She was also a member of the Randolph Gardens Club and a longtime member of Springfield Assembly of God.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Piland, whom she married on May 13, 1987; daughters, Amie Beans and Leigh (Wayne) Rathbun; grandchildren, Ashley Drake, Brandyn Beans, Jessica Rathbun and Aaron Rathbun; sister, Cindy Pagano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her sisters, Pat McLaughlin and Penny Castiglia; and son-in-law, Chris Beans.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. immediately followed by a 2:30 p.m. memorial service with Pastor Matt Miller officiating at Springfield Assembly of God, 1551 Canton Rd. Akron, Ohio 44312. Private inurnment for the family at Northlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
