Pamela Jean Ross (Stohrel) passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021 after a short battle with cancer surrounded by her daughters, Patricia, Karen and Alana and grandson, Bradley. She was born September 24th 1946 in East Cleveland to the late Charles and Rebecca Stohrel. The family relocated to Sheffield Lake where she graduated from Brookside High School in 1966. She then married her high school sweet heart and together they had 4 children. Due to unfortunate circumstances she became a single mother at a very young age. She always strived to make sure her kids were taken care of no matter what the struggle was. And the struggle was real. It was in this time her love of learning blossomed as she obtained her nursing degree in 1974. She decided to have one more child in 1985. She then went on to get her associates degree in nursing in 1990, relocating to Akron and making her life long career in nursing. Pamela enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, reading, writing, watching educational and arts programming, collecting interesting older collectibles, listening and giving good advice. She was preceded in death by her loving son Joseph. She is survived by her remaining children Patricia, Karen, Kevin and Alana and her siblings Linda, Rick, and Nancy and her grandchildren, Bradley, Robert, Michael, Timothy, Sydney, Pamela, Paige, Ethan, Aaliyah and Adrian; great-grandchildren, Landon, Shylow, Robert, Sophia and Hunter. She will be forever missed she was truly loved such a kind and gentle spirit. In memory of Pamela, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
