Paris W. Jones

Paris W. Jones, 72, passed away on December 9, 2006. Born March 22, 1934 in Princeton, WV to the late Thomas and Susan Jones. Paris served in the US Army and was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Kent. He retired from Ametek Inc. in Kent. Paris loved farming, being outdoors, and spending time in his beloved Princeton, West Virginia. His passion was his family, especially his grandchildren who he enjoyed spoiling. Paris always had a smile and a positive attitude, even through difficult times. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Thomas and infant sister Bonnie. Survivors include sons Kenneth and Timothy; daughters Deborah (Lee) Stoneking and Susie (Richard) Plaisted; brothers Clifford (Rose), Carl (Joyce), and Ronnie (Karen); sister Frances (Paul) Hughes; and grandchildren Katrina, Nicholas, Adam, Jessica, Ashley, Janessa, and Brandon. Special thanks to his caregivers Brenda Harmon and Bonnie Klutsky and Hospice of Robinson in Ravenna. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
