Pastor Roberth. Schneider, Jr.

Pastor Robert 'Bo' H. Schneider, Jr., 71, resident of Springfield Twp, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was born March 15, 1942 in Canton, Ohio to Robert and Mary Jane Schneider. Bo retired from Akron General Hospital as a Histologist and was presently serving as Pastor at Lake Milton Presbyterian Church. His passions were his involvement with Kairos Prison Ministry, square dancing and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Schneider, Sr. Bo is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 30 years Judy Kay Schneider, mother Mary Jane Schneider, children; Elaine Schneider, Jane Schneider, Mark Reeves, Raymond (Kim) Kline, Troy (Christina) Reeves and Kami (Joe) Rodgers, sisters; June Wuerthele, Mary Anne (David) Hughes, Betty Franta and Martha (Tom) Wachunas, brothers; Donald (Mary Kaye) Schneider, William (Elizabeth) Schneider, James (Denise) Schneider, John (Lori) Schneider and Michael (Kathy) Schneider, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church, 1430 Goodyear Blvd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Prison Ministry.
