Pat Sollinger
Pat Sollinger, 82, passed away on July 28, 2016. She was born in Conneautville, PA to the late Charles and Morea Flagg. She had a passion for art and was recognized for her creativity and her paintings. Pat loved cats (Mystic and Freddy), music, and the beauty of nature. She also enjoyed spending time with her very large family.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Kathi Shinn and Therese Gall; sisters, Gladys Duval, Mildred Welker, and Hazel Wright. Pat is survived by Rich Sollinger; daughters, Monica (Jim) Crawford, Suzanne (Carl) Holt and Bernadette Askia; sons, Steve (Joy) Sollinger, Joe Sollinger, David (Debbie) Sollinger and Eric (Ann) Sollinger; sons in-law, Bob Shinn and Bill Gall; brother, Don (Virginia) Flagg; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Monday August 1, 2016 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Stewart's Caring Place 2955 West Market St. Suite R, Fairlawn, OH 44333.
