Patcey Jean Wilkinson

Patcey Jean Wilkinson, age 89, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2021 at her home.

She was born on October 5, 1931 in Clearfield, PA, the daughter of the late Meryl and Mabel (nee Snyder) Rowles.

Patcey married Carl Wayne Wilkinson on May 24, 1949.

Patcey was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, candy making, bowling, working in her pristine yard, and canning. In her younger years, she served as a Girl Scout leader. At the age of 89, she went to Niagara Falls for the first time and absolutely loved her trip. Her greatest joy was spending time and providing for her family.

Patcey is survived by daughters, Brenda (Cliff Roberts) Wilkinson of Lancaster, South Carolina and Alice (Carson) Stewart of Tallmadge, Ohio; son-in-law, Nelson Christman; grandchildren, Monica, Matthew, Melissa, Jennifer, John, Jill, Joseph, Erin, Christina, Kimberly, Robert and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Raymond, Brandon, Christopher, Emily, Daniel, Brian, Luke, Joseph, Malorie, Joshua, Isaac, Baylee, AJ, Alicen, Dylann, Emerson, Wyatt and Landon; great-great-grandson, Cayden; and special friends, Tommy and Jamie.

Patcey is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wayne Wilkinson; and daughters, Ruth Myers and Linda Christman.

Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM, where Pastor John Burton Jr. will celebrate Patcey's life.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM.
