Patricia A. Memmer,62, of Akron, passed away September 14, 2012. She was born in Thetford, England on April 18, 1950 to the late Frederick and Vivian Scott. Patricia was the owner and operator of That Bloomin' Florist. She was very artistic and enjoyed crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Carrie Memmer and her brother, Todd Scott. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, Lawrence; daughter, Tammie Memmer-Prentiss (Stephen); grandson, Tristan Memmer-Prentiss; brothers, Walter (Rosemary), Michael (Ginie), Peter (Thelma), Richard (Judy), and Leslie (Joan) Scott; sister-in-law, Gill Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday September 19 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service with Minister Gloria Slaughter officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital.
