Patricia Ann (Menefee) Tomko

Jesus says: Unless a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). Jesus also says...I go to prepare a place for you that where I am you may be also (John 14:2&3). Pat Tomko 84, has come to the end of her earthly journey. She fought a long courageous battle with diabetes and heart disease. She knows Christ as her Savior and Lord. She is in the mansion that He has prepared for her for all eternity. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Menefee; as well as siblings, Buddy, Peggie Lou, Jeannie, Jim, and youngest sister, Marjorie Elaine (whom she named), and THE LOVE OF HER LIFE for 49 years, Michael. Now they are worshipping their Savior forever.

She was a wonderful and compassionate mother to Kimberly Ann and Diane Michelle. She will leave a gaping hole in our hearts. We will always love her and our dad. She is also survived by her brother and sister in-law, Earl and Jackie Menefee; sister, Nancy Meneffe; and brother in-law, Walter Tomko. We are very grateful to the believers at Grace Baptist Church for their prayers, support and friendship. To her faithful caregiver, Theresa; Dr. Kevin Lonsdorf; her special niece, Sandi; and to her generous nephew, Larry Johnston. Mom, we love you to the moon and back. You would reply, I love you more.

Family will receive friends on Friday May 13, 2016 from 12-1pm with the funeral service starting at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Rev. Bob Stephens officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
