Patricia Ann Poteete, 73, of Port Orange, FL, passed away July 10, 2013. She was born in Detroit, MI on October 13, 1939 to the late William and Esther Jackson. Pat lived in Akron most of her life. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Cullen W. Poteete, Jr.; brother, William Jackson; sister, Etta Murphy. Pat is survived by her children, Charles, Torri, Cullen, Bruce (Kelley), Bobby, Carolyn, Michelle; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, July 16, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12 p.m with Pastor Eugene Norris officiating.
Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
