Patricia A. Batley

Patricia A. Batley, 65, of Akron, passed away on April 26, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1958 the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen Anderson. She retired from Akron General Hospital after 20 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crafts. Patty also enjoyed gambling and playing slots anywhere she could find a slot machine but most recently in Las Vegas. She had many achievements but her greatest was her love of her family, especially being with her beloved grandchildren. Patty will always be remembered for being quick to smile, her sense of humor, being a dedicated mother and grandmother, and having much love in her heart. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dennis Lee Batley; and siblings John Anderson, Nancy Anderson and Tim Anderson.

Patty is survived by her loving family; her 5 sons, Michael (Paul), Scott (Sarah), Brian (Jennifer), Joshua (Meghan), and Christopher (Susan); grandchildren Rylan, Peyton, Maddie, Carson, Rowan, Ella, and Landyn; sisters Frances Anderson, and Dottie (David) Young; sisters-in-laws Mary Anderson and Carol Coomer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Thursday, May 2nd at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron).
