Patricia L. Burgess

Patricia L. Burgess, 67, passed away on November 1, 2022. She was born on August 24, 1955 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Beecher and Kathleen Tandy. She retired from Acme after 26 years of dedicated service. Patricia was loving mother and enthusiastic grandma. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her the most joy. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, baking, crafting and traveling with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her adventurous and generous spirit as well as her absolute love for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son Marc Burgess.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Julia (Christopher) Carli; son Ryan Burgess; daughter-in-law Lesley Burgess; loving partner of 20 years, Keith White; grandchildren Pete Carli, Lacey Burgess, and Chelsea Burgess; siblings Daniel (Dalene) Tandy, Paul Tandy, Marvin Tandy (Diane Miller), Jean Songwinds, and Stephen (Anna) Tandy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
