Patricia E. Mayard
Patricia E. Mayard, 66, of Barberton, went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2011. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 21, 1945 to the late John and Joan Grange. Patricia was a tire builder at General Tire for ten years and a housekeeper at St. Thomas Hospital. Most recently, she was a security officer at Flash Electronics. Patricia enjoyed volunteering at numerous local libraries. As a cancer survivor, she also donated her time to cancer charities. She will be deeply missed by her children, Jennifer (Jon) Sample, Paul (Nadia) Mayard, and Diana Ries (Mike Price); sister, Jacqueline Cutright; grandchildren, Janeen (Thad) Frost, Leanne Mayard, David Ries, Scot Sample, Sarah Ries, Robert Sample, and Michael Mayard; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Lily Frost; and many relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17th from 4-6 followed by a 6 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
