Patricia Alice "Patty" Evans (nee Frazier), age 75 (but could have easily been mistaken for 60), of Munroe Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2024. Patty was born in Akron, Ohio, and was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Ellsworth and Edith Frazier; as well as her sister, Rosemary Cooper in March of 2024.
Patty graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 1967 and shortly there after married her high school sweetheart, becoming an Army wife. On June 20, 2024, Patty and Tom celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. Patty pursued a career in nursing. She enjoyed traveling with her Army husband, Thomas Evans, over the years. The beauty of the first snow of the season brought her back to Ohio. Patty continued to enjoy trips to North Carolina's beaches and day trips to the casinos.
Patty loved animals of all sorts and found companionship over the years with Koochow, Muffin, Penny, Winnie, Blue, Toto and her fish, all of which have welcomed her to Heaven. She especially enjoyed her friends at the flea markets she participated in over the years. Patty was always sharing her finds with friends and family. She had a fine appreciation for antiques and the latest technology. She was also an avid shopper.
It is difficult to express what a truly good person Patty is with words. It was a feeling you had when she was around you and you only knew it when she was absent. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas, and her children, Shelly Cook, Michael (Tracey) Evans and Christine (Jon) Coles. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Jacob Evans and Abigail Evans (their mother, Carrie Evans), Hailey Coles and Matthew Coles (their father, Jon Coles), Elisabeth Cook, Eric Cook, Haidyn Evans and Raegan Evans (their mother, Tracey Evans); her brother-in-law, James Evans; her beloved nieces and nephew, Angela Gesaman, Kathleen James and Daniel James; and her biological sibling, Donald Smith. He and his family have been an important part of her life and prayers since reuniting with them.
Patty's warmth, kindness, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
