Patricia Hagey, "Pat", age 85 of Akron, Ohio, died on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 12, 1933 in Akron, the daughter of the late Garland Edward and Mary (nee Timbrook) Stanley.
Pat was a 1951 graduate of East High School and was a secretary for Goodyear Research, her second "home", for over 30 years. Mrs. Hagey was a former member of the East Market Street United Church of Christ and a current member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
Pat liked to plant flowers, go out to lunch, and loved shopping for jewelry and shoes, "all things fancy". She was always ready for a good time, enjoying pool parties and holiday cookouts with her friends and family.
Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Walters of Brimfield and Karen (Tony) Urdiales of Akron; her grandchildren, James Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Montana Hollis, Jack Hollis, Chandler Hollis, Kristen Urdiales, and Karmen Urdiales; her great-grandchildren, Austin, Eden, Emma, Eva, Ivy, Charlotte, Paige, and Allison.
Other than her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hagey in 1993, they were united in marriage on February 26, 1965.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.
Family and friends may visit from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
