Patricia D. Heard

Patricia D. "Patty" Heard, 85, of Akron, passed peacefully away at her home on July 13, 2020. She was born in Rosebud, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1935.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian B. Heard; son, Jeffrey L. Heard; and sisters, June Sheposh, and Charlotte Bell.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Gregg Heard; sister, Janet Biehl; brother Jim Kephart; and their loving families.
Patty began her career as a flight attendant for American Airlines where she was based out of New York City for several years. She also worked at the University of Akron as a administrative assistant. As an avid tennis player, Patty played in many leagues in the greater Akron area. She was also a talented ice skater, often skating at the Kent State rink. Her most cherished role was as a very devoted wife to her beloved husband Brian, and to her two boys, Jeff and Gregg.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
