Patricia Ann (Fisher) Knisely

Patricia Ann (Fisher) Knisely, 91, was welcomed into Heaven and into the loving arms of her heavenly Father on July 25, 2021. Patricia was strong in her faith of the salvation of Jesus Christ and a faithful member for over 40 years of Firestone Road Baptist Church and attended Maranatha Bible Church for the past ten years. Patricia was the Matriarch and prayer warrior for her family.
She was born to the late Albert and Marie Fisher in Toledo, Ohio and was a resident of the Canton, Ohio area for over 50 years. Preceded into Glory by her husband, Reverend Garwood O. Knisely, son Daniel E. Knisely, grandson Daniel Jr., 3 sisters and 1 brother. Patricia is survived by her brother James Fisher, her loving children Victoria Claar-Highlander (John), Patti Sams (Edward), Timothy W. Knisely (Melissa), and Pamela Ellwood (John), grandchildren Steven, David, Craig, Audrey, April, Derek, Lucas, Nathan, Rachel, and Benjamin, 18 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service.
Funeral will be followed by a private family graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, Patricia asks that donations be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Uniontown, Ohio 44685 and/or Maranatha Bible Church in her honor.
