Patricia L. Kirschner

Patricia L. Kirschner, 87, of Akron, passed away on December 4, 2024. She was born on December 12, 1936 the daughter of the late Warren and Mary McLaughlin of Akron, Ohio. In her younger years she was a fantastic athlete, excelling in softball, volleyball and bowling and many other sports. She enjoyed fishing in Canada. Pat always loved get togethers with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and jokes, sparkling smile, the love in her heart, and her love for her family. She will be missed. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Betty, George, Joan, Gary, and Diane. 

Pat is survived by her loving wife of being together for 57 years, Cynthia "Cindy"; children John, Jean, and Keith; sister Mary; brother David; and many nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 15th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305) where a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm. 

The family is asking for no flowers or donations, but please come with stories and memories to share during the Celebration of Life.
