Patricia E. "Pat" Lucas, 81, passed away on April 24, 2007. Born in Gasaway, WV on December 10, 1925 to the late Howard and Ressi Gunter. Pat enjoyed painting, gardening and animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Gunter and her daughter Kimberly Fowler. Survivors include her husband John of 53 years; son John (Mary Ann); sister Barbara (Charles) Henthorne; brothers Michael (Barbara Jane) Gunter and Thomas (Dianne) Gunter; grandchildren Natalie, Ryan, Brittany, Melissa, Terri, Patricia, and David. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Friday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
