Patricia "Pat"G. Knapp

Patricia "Pat" G. Knapp, 93, died at her home on May 7, 2016. Born in Akron on May 29, 1922, Pat was a daughter of Theodore Franklin and Myrtle M. (Taylor) Connors. She lived in Akron most of her life. She worked for the Akron Public Schools, Akron General Hospital and the Walker Insurance Agency before retiring to Florida in 1986. Pat was very active in the community and served as a president of the Akron Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a founding member of the Vero Beach, FL Irish American club. Pat enjoyed many activities especially entertaining friends and family.

Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Verne K. "Tex" Willey; her son, Franklin V. "Tad" Willey; and her second husband, Frederick T. Knapp. Pat is survived by her daughters, D. Michelle "Mikki" Mason (David Birnie) and Kathleen "K. Sue" Levinsky; grandchildren Shaun P. Mason (Shelley), Michael P. Levinsky, and Chad A. Mason and great grandchildren, Maximus Levinsky, Noelani Mason, and Colin P. Mason.
