On March 18, 2025 Patty went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She transitioned into his arms at her home surrounded by her daughters that she loved so deeply and beloved family at her side. Raised in the Kenmore area of Akron, OH and very proud of it, she always loved the underdog and would go out of her way to help anyone. Patty was a member of AA for many years and helped many people with their struggles in life. She will always be remembered for her warm smile and her greeting "Jesus loves you, and so do I".
Preceded in death by her loving parents John "Jim" and Betty Lou Rachel, older brother Henry "Butch" McColley, and treasured oldest grandson James "Jimi" Jodon. She was survived by daughters Brandi (John) Bergdorf, Angela Acevedo (Bruce Woods), Marybeth (Nick) Folden, grandchildren, Cory, Dillon, Daniel, Jared, Brandon, Abbigail, Zachary, Antonio, Tyler, Alejandro, Tayleigh and Lincoln, 14 great grandchildren, sister Cheryl "Sherry" Kovacs, brother Rick "Fugi" Rachel, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Patty had a zest for life and loved many things like music, dancing, camping, the beach, Disney World but her greatest love was the love she had for her Lord and Savior Jesus. Patty will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all those who loved her.
