Patricia A. Robertson-Powers

Patricia "Patti" Robertson -Powers was born September 19, 1952 and on September 21, 2020 her wings were ready, but our hearts were not.

Patti was born in Northvale, New Jersey. The family later moved to Dallas, Texas, where she attended Kimball High School and El Centro College. In 1974, Patti moved to San Francisco, California and then to Akron, Ohio. Everyone who knew her knew that she loved animals, so it comes as no surprise that Patti worked as a veterinary assistant and certified small animal nutritionist. Patti had many accomplishments, but by far her proudest one was her son, Robbie. She always smiled when she was bragging about him. Patti enjoyed movies and music. She loved a good book, and was always willing to recommend one to a friend. Patti also enjoyed telling stories and funny jokes with her husband Walt; she would often laugh in the middle before getting to the end! On September 24th of this year, they would have celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. Patti was a beautiful person inside and out, with a warm heart, and she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patti leaves to cherish her endearing memory her devoted husband, Walter Powers Jr. of Akron, Ohio; loving son, Robert (Summer) Murray of Phoenix, Arizona; beloved brother, William (MaryJane) Robertson of Dallas, Texas; bonus son, Walter (Holly) Powers; bonus daughter, Vivian (Vernon) Powers- Smith; brother-in-law, Thomas (Valerie) Powers Sr.; sister-in-law, Blanche (Ernest) Burns Johnson; bonus grandchildren Logan, Kofi Gabriel and Shirley; best friend, Robin, and fur baby, Cootie.

Per her request, there will be no funeral services. We only ask that you remember her beautiful spirit and smile, and know that heaven has gained an amazing angel.
