On Friday, September 26, 2008 Pat lost her hard fought struggle with lung disease, dying peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 74. She was a life long resident of the area most of her life where she had made many friends along the way. She was generous, kind and always mindful of others. Honest as the day is long with an independent, indomitable spirit that was respected by those who knew her well. For all her accomplishments in life, she will be best remembered for the person that she was and that we grew to love. Daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A genuinely good person of integrity and warmth. Pat was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband. She is survived and will be missed most by her sons Mike, John (Angela); grandchildren Austin, Kaylee and Caden; sister Barbara (Irvin) Craig; brother Bob (Eleanor) Farrance; long time friends Wanda and Shirley and her bingo buddy Bell. We would like to express our thanks to the Visiting Nurses and the entire staff of Hospice on Ridgewood Road, who helped make Pat's last days as comfortable as possible.
