Patricia L. Townsend, 32, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2005. She was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her grandmother Mattie Williams; and grandparents Boyd and Elizabeth Townsend. Survivors include her parent James and Linda Townsend of Akron; sister Linda Barrett of Ravenna; brothers Daniel Townsend of Akron, Scott Barrett of St. Clairesville, OH, and Jim (Heather) Barrett of West Palm Beach, FL; very special friends Tracy and Mark; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be TODAY, 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Friday, 1p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Cecil Famer officating.
