Patricia Ann Weimer (Vaughn, Hambrick), age 72.
Pattye has been promoted to glory on the day (7/24/2023). Born on July 2, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico to parents, Richard and Anna Vaughn (Janes). She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Lloyd E. Weimer II; her mother, Ann; brothers, Richard and Gary Vaughn, Leonard Vaughn (deceased); daughter, Bridgette Merle; sons, G. Charles Hambrick, Brian Hambrick and Lloyd Weimer III (Kim). God blessed her with nine grandchildren, Jordan Hambrick (deceased), Jared Hambrick, Jazmyn Fitzgerald (Mike), Jacquelyn McManigal, Kirstyn Carman (Caitlynn), Hannah and Emily Merle, Kelsey and Jaden Weimer. She had nearly nine great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
Pattye was known for her generosity and loving kindness made evident by her formation and management of a competitive marching majorette and drum corp, the "Spartanettes". After many parades she accumulated 67 trophies and dozens of changed lives for her effort. She was on a mission trip to Guatemala Bible Seminary where she was in charge of filling the children of the staff and students with love and glee.
There will be a Memorial Service for family and friends at Springfield Baptist Church (1920 Krumroy Rd, Akron, OH 44312) at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. up to the time of the service. All are then invited to stay for lunch in the hall downstairs.
She made the world a better place; she will be missed.
